Cha Cha to Sway- Nina Sophia Waga Mojares & Gabriel Basalatan Ballroom Dancing

Gabriel Basalatan 12 y/o and Nina Sophia Waga Mojares 11 y/o were requested to perform a special dance number at Lindsay Ambat’s Sweet 16th Birthday.

Gabriel is also an Olympic Gold Medalist and holds a 3rd Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Award Winning Latin Ballroom Dancers, Nina Waga Mojares and Gabriel Basalatan Dances Cha Cha to the music “sway” by Pussycat Dolls. They have been dancing for less than a year under the instruction of Spencer Nymchek. They took 1st place in their Junior 2 division Silver and 2nd in Gold at the National Dancesport Ballroom Competition in Los Angeles.

If you like to compete, the 2010 Texas Salsa Open is a qualifying event that will send the final winners in each category to the 5th Annual World Salsa Championships. The winners will represent Texas on1, on2, and the team competitions to the 5th Annual World Salsa Championships. The rules here are modeled after the World Salsa Championship rules which can be found at
